You can’t beat the location. A close 10-15 minute walk to Main Beach and all the shops. I chose it because of the close proximity to everything and I liked the laid back beach vibe and how small it was. I was not interested in the large chain hotel. All the staff were so nice and accommodating. I wanted a room with an ocean view and a patio, and I got that, it was wonderful. First time in CA, and my first solo trip. The hotel was my home for 4 days and that’s exactly what it felt like. What I didn’t expect was the immediate warmth you’ll feel when you walk in the ADORABLE little lobby. They have this incredible essential oil that they diffuse in the lobby and after I asked if the scent could be purchased because it’s that amazing, I was told that an essential oil company designed a scent specifically for them and are not selling it just yet. Just you wait. The wine and cookies were a nice touch in the evening. They provide tea and coffee in the mornings. A lil breakfast would be nice, but there’s 8 million places you could go eat when you walk out the front door, so that’s definitely not a deal breaker. I didn’t want to leave and I will definitely be back.

I liked that the hotel had a nice clean lobby and rooms. I also liked that the woman at the front desk was personable and answered any questions easily. I also liked that the parking lot of the hotel had nice sized parking spaces rather than spaces that were so slender that it would have made it difficult to get in and out of your car. I liked that the hotel was just a short walk to the main shopping area and that it was on the ocean side of the street making it easy to see some of the coast and ocean from the balcony. And having stayed on the 4th of July, I loved that we had a front row seat to the Laguna Beach fireworks display. It was awesome. Even other guests that were on the balcony or at the pool that evening enjoyed it immensely.

It's even cuter than the pictures, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, it's quiet, great pool area, and our balcony had a peekaboo view of the ocean. I loved the location as it was walking distance to the heart of Laguna Beach (about 10 min walk) and beach (5 min). Sufficient parking to handle all of the guests and the spaces are large so you don't have to worry about hitting cars or posts.

There is a wine happy hour, where you can get a free glass of wine to enjoy in your room or by the pool and freshly baked cookies also served in the evening. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, it is very conveniently located.
